They are divided into pools, and you must acquire all the cards in Pool One before moving on to the next pool. You can build your deck as you prefer, regardless of the card’s effects or energy cost, as long as you keep the rule ”No duplicates.” To be a good player, you need to balance the strength of your deck with the energy cost as including only cards with high energy cost will make it hard to win games. Also, weaker cards can be used to gain an advantage or disrupt a match due to their unique effects.
